Wellness Services Health Check - Adventist Medical Center

Adventist Health/Wellness Services Health Check is a wonderful way to get a quick look at your overall health. With blood pressure, a blood lipid profile (cholesterol, HDL (good) and LDL (bad), triglycerides and glucose), body fat and an option for fitness testing, this program screens for major risk factors of heart disease. Through a comprehensive questionnaire, we also evaluate nutritional status, activity levels, stress, happiness, family history and other factors that affect health. All material is kept confidential and each individual receives a thorough computerized report and Learning Guide that evaluates their health and provides recommendations and motivational tips for a healthier life.

The Health Check includes:

Lipid Profile (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, glucose, triglycerides)
Body fat (calipers)
Blood pressure
Height and weight
18+ page personal report and Learning Guide
Brief consultation session/group session*
Group Profile report for larger groups

Most Health Checks are performed at our Wellness Services fitness testing center located at 10101 SE Main (adjacent to Adventist Medical Center). In many cases, they can also be performed at the worksite for groups of 20 or more.

*With groups, we offer 1-hour group follow-up sessions where the results are explained and other wellness-related topics are addressed. There is also time available afterwards for more individual assistance.
