Our Volunteer Program is geared to meet the current needs of our patients as
well as providing opportunities for volunteers to be part of an amazing
experience. We encourage volunteer excellence by implementing the following
procedures:
- Providing training on an as-needed, on-going
basis
- Emphasizing the importance of volunteer
retention by providing the following:
- Monthly birthday luncheons and gifts
- Annual Christmas buffet
- Annual volunteer service award and recognition certificates
- Staff interaction and appreciation certificates
- Bi-monthly, complimentary meal and self-care group with peers
